Easter message 2019

I’m back. The break was definitely much longer than I anticipated. Sorry. I had surgery the beginning of March. I didn’t think much about planning for downtime since i had the exact same surgery six months ago and i was up and at ‘em within two days. Well, let’s just say that didn’t happen.


Good news though, I am finally functional. So, with that said, back to blogging. Next week we will begin a new series titled “Let it be!” As always I pray that through the writings you will be blessed as God is glorified.

Today, I want to share something laid on my heart just this morning as I was thinking of the significance of Easter and just how personal it is to me. Enjoy!



Jesus and me 

Sometimes I stumble 
Sometimes I fall
But I know I can get up
Because Jesus has taken care of it all 

There are so many forces
trying to keep me down
But I know my Jesus
and I refuse to be bound

Because of my Jesus
I no longer fret
Because of my Jesus
WHO paid my debt

My debt for my past
and all that will be
So I live life moving forward
Jesus and me

I have realized it’s not easy
Many things still haunt me
But I trust in my Jesus
and I know I am free
